Morteza established Be Legacy with a clear conviction: that great Australian businesses deserve thoughtful, long-term stewardship when the time comes for owners to step back.
With nearly 20 years of experience across architecture, design, project management and the delivery of complex projects, Morteza brings a strong understanding of people, operations, problem-solving and long-term value creation.
His approach to acquisition is grounded in respect for what business owners have built, the people and relationships behind each business, and a genuine commitment to preserving its strengths while supporting its next stage of growth.
Through Be Legacy, Morteza is focused on acquiring established Australian businesses and carrying their legacy forward with care.

With a background spanning law, diplomacy, psychology and writing, Clare brings a broad and considered perspective to Be Legacy.
Clare's motivation in establishing Be Legacy, was to create a platform providing succession avenues for heritage businesses, to protect the value of their legacy into the future.
At Be Legacy, Clare brings a thoughtful, people-focused approach to business ownership — respecting what has already been built, supporting the people behind each business, and helping strong Australian businesses continue to grow and thrive for the long term.
Clare spent five years with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, including serving as a diplomat in Canada and working as a lawyer advising the Australian Government on diplomatic law.
Her interest in people and human behaviour extends beyond her legal and diplomatic career. With a degree in psychology, she has also published children’s books focused on emotional wellbeing and helping children develop the skills to understand and regulate their emotions.
Across these different pursuits, Clare has developed a strong appreciation for the power of curiosity, intellectual rigour and the value of bringing diverse perspectives together. She believes meaningful work is shaped not only by what we achieve, but by the values that guide how we contribute to others.
